The conference pursues an agile publication policy by facilitating the publication of the authors’ contributions in a variety of journals. The following publication workflow will be followed by COS’2026.

• The manuscripts are initially invited as „COS Conference Paper”. By default, this maps to a proceedings article.
• Each manuscript will be evaluated and recommended to submit to one of the special issues if it fits the journal’s scope and the necessary quality level.
